Vegetable: Which Ones & How Much?

Written by Stark | Feb 13, 2016 10:06:44 PM

Everybody who takes part in physical activity wants to know how to enhance their metabolism and reach peak performance.

Vegetables are great for that, but not everybody knows what they should eat or how much they should eat to

Strategize a detox of high estrogen levels and boost testosterone. Both men and women need support to lower estrogen and raise testosterone.

It’ll make you feel better, look better, give you more drive, improve your sex drive and put you in a better mood when those things are balanced out. It is critical to use vegetables to balance those out.

Firstly, how much to eat?

Take an average bowl and fill it with vegetables; that will be two cups and this should be your minimum intake of vegetables with lunch and another with dinner.

Have fruit for breakfast, around half a cup, but we’ll talk about fruit later – you need two cups minimum of vegetables though some people prefer more.

Vegetables contain essential phytonutrients: nutrients, vitamins, minerals and the enzymes a body needs to function.

People get what their body needs most from vegetables and your proteins - the good stuff that rebuilds the body, so it is essential to have a large bowl of vegetables with every meal.

What are the best foods to detox high estrogen levels?

These are call “cruciferous vegetables” and you can find information about them online.

They are good for detoxifying estrogen especially. They contain sulfur amino acids, which helps the body to detox.

Here are some most commonly found in our supermarkets, taste great and work wonders for performance:

  • horseradish
  • kale
  • collard greens
  • cabbage
  • Brussel sprouts
  • broccoli
  • cauliflower
  • bok choy and turnip
  • rutabaga (more commonly known as swede) arugula
  • watercress
  • radish

Those are core cruciferous vegetables, so eat plenty of those.

Most people are deficient in zinc.

Quite simply, it’s something few of us get enough of and it is essential in raising testosterone levels.

Vegetables with high zinc levels:

  • green beans
  • asparagus
  • Brussel sprouts

Eat lots of Brussel sprouts, as noted above are great for detoxing estrogen too!

Some fruits are great for zinc as well:

  • pomegranate
  • avocados
  • blackberries
  • raspberries

These are just some of the simple vegetables and fruits you can use to detoxify the bad estrogens and build zinc in the body to make more testosterone.

Once you’ve done that, the ultimate you is going to show up.

Remember, you need two cups for each meal; choose the right ones to balance your hormones and you’ll do well.

It’s your health, man up!
